Year-round school gains ground around U.S.
Wed Oct 27, 2010
With the amount and diversity of the information retention required by young students in today's classrooms, YRE just makes sense. Add to the equation dual-income households who struggle with finding and keeping quality childcare for just a few months every year.
10 smart ideas to get the kids out the door on time
Tue Aug 31, 2010
I have one child in elementary school, and two in daycare, approximately 14 miles apart, and I work full-time as well. I completely "get" what the author is getting at. My Kindergartner still needs to be awakened in the morning, but he's been getting dressed himself for years.
RV camping was made for kids
Mon Aug 23, 2010

Wed Jul 14, 2010
Better materials and workmanship, fewer parts for parents to assemble and more realistic pricing of the "better quality" cribs are what is needed here! I personally don't care for drop-sides; most are nearly impossible to use one-handed, and are just a big pain in the butt.
Moms and Dads, Ever been injured by your little angel? What's the worst owie you've received at the hands of your tot?
Fri Jun 12, 2009
All of the above, though the worst was the broken nose and double-black-eyes from my not-quite 2-year old son...
Poll: Public concerned about size of deficit
Mon Jun 8, 2009
Sure, let's tax the little people some more. Do you realize that, while I receive employer-paid benefits, I also pay 2/3 of the premium for that insurance? Or Co-pays every time I need anything? Employer-paid benefits are RARELY 100% of the cost of the insurance.
